Kinda makes the cease and desist legal theory to go to strictly HS invalid, unless there were agreed upon exceptions.

Still doesn't make sense to hand out more of the award cards than the number of final cards out there. If that's the case, should hand out Trench and Kickoff rewards to people without Watt and Rodgers, respectively.

Maybe they gave out more Benjamin's than they should have because of the error release? The count probably reset when they swapped in the fixed card or something.

Yeah, it may be that Topps argued that they owed this to the consumers to prevent future problems with users but I am skeptical of that reasoning. Kind of strange.
