Please inform me. Is this all luck or what? How should one score points with batters?

If you have a fast game feed you can plug them after they do something point worthy. I can only get it to work 40% of this time, and most of the time I just end up losing plays.

The big problem with that is it takes FOREVER to get cards in the game

This almost always works for me if I can get an over-the-air radio feed of the game. Those are always ahead of online feeds, and often ahead of TV. Probably 75% of the time I can get the players in my lineup in time if I have the app open while listening to the radio.

I find that my satellite radio feed is always behind unless that's just my feed.

If you have time to REALLY watch the game (in other words, not feeding an infant child at the same time), you can anticipate when hitters are going to come up in RBI situations, plug them in to BUNT while they're still on deck, and then get your pitchers back in there between innings. That's what I've been doing, anyways.
But if someone's up to hit with the bases empty, I usually don't bother with it.

I agree. Tried to do that with my Hosmer playoff boost in the middle of the game last night and it froze on me. Just had it in while I was sleeping to get the points in for his RBI in extra innings.
