I'm new to digital cards, but find the possibilities really interesting and fun.
My question involves basic trading values for Kick cards. When trading, given that you're all trading commons (Or, stars for stars, etc.), what value do you personally place on cards of different colors. I've seen people who value greens as 2x whites, reds 2x greens, silver 2x reds, and gold 2x silver. I've seen other people go as high as 4 for 1. What are your thoughts? Personally, I've been splitting the difference.
1 white = 1 white 1 green = 3 white 1 red = 9 white, 3 green 1 silver = 3 red, 9 green 1 gold = 3 silver, 9 red
Of course these values assume like-popularity of each card. Otherwise, those value can fluctuate a little.
So, I'm wondering; how do you establish value?

Personally, I go by a variety of factors. Is this player doing well right now? How many PTS does he have this season? Is he a fairly well-known player? Does he play for the user's favorite team? Is his card count close to or identical to the card I'm trading for? All of these factors can help determine how you trade cards with others. Other factors include what type of rarity the card is, and what type of insert it is, if the card happens to be an insert.
