I've heard from a few ppl that black boost from this year will still work next year. Is this in fact true?

is this from someone trying to trade you a black boost and they aren't your friends? They're probably trying to scam you
1) Bunt has not announced this. 2) It'd be nice if they did do this but.... 3) Topps is so greedy that they'd rather just make new boosts

It is almost certainly not true. Back when they made the PTS changes at the All Star Break, toppscormack told me very clearly that 2014 cards will not score after the 2014 season. I expect that extends to the boosts as well.

Not to drag this issue out...but I just read the 12/8 Bunt blog entry over at Digital Card Central by SCUncensored and he stated that 2014 VIP black boost would still be playable in 2015. He's usually pretty plugged in with Topps and what's going on. So if someone could clarify this, that would be great! And if it is in fact true, we would need to distinguish what black boosts were from the VIP program and what were not. The David Wright black boost comes to mind one that was not a VIP release as it was done as a raffle drawing. I know it's the off-season. But, it would be good to receive some clarification on this....anyone?

I read it again in a News Feed article on VIP cards today. Again, the uncertainty or clarity makes it difficult to know what I should trade or hold on to. If certain black boost cards are playable next year there should be a definitive list published in a news article on Bunt. Just my two cents :-)
