One thing I like about digital cards is you can't lose them and can theoretically keep them forever without having to store them or worrry about their condition degrading.
One thing though I worry about Huddle is that they will shut down the app due to licensing issues and my entire collection will disappear into thin air. In fact I am thinking about selling all my cards and retiring from Huddle as a result.
Does anybody else think this could happen? Or does anyone have any information about their kicensing info?
One thing I would like to see to prevent this is to merge kick, huddle, and bunt into one app.

Nope exclusive media deal with the NFLPA. Anyone with solid info on this? Any references or links? Can any Topps employees comment? As far as we can tell, the deal is only for physical cards, which does not include digital media. However, Panini may want to launch their own trading card app, which would leave huddle on the outside looking in very quickly. After this year, 2015 huddle is still an option because the deal does not take effect until 2016. That is a long time for things to change at Topps - and I dont mean them acquiring more rights, but instead moving towards Bunt and Kick more as a longer term platform with full licensing. Similarly, as long as Bunt exists, its likely the servers will be up to maintain the cards, so they wont disappear, just nothing new may be added to the app and no maintenance would be done. That's more of a likely reality, but its not a certainty.
