My collection score dropped from 70+ 69. How does that happen, I didn't even make a trade? Does trade star ratings effect it?

Your trader score will not affect your collection score. The collection score will change as the number of cards released increases, and your collection doesn't keep pace with the overall growth of total cards released.

Mine just went up 6 points...?
It's not a simple counting number, it's all relative to everybody else's collection. If you quit for 3 months, like I did, your score will go down because everybody else's got better.

I went from 77.83 to 83.84. Huh?
The only thing I could think of is that 2012-13 cards were given even more "weight" than they had before. I remember to 9:1 trades of 2013s for silvers and my score going down a lot more than 9 silvers for 1 would do.
