Today is 10 year anniversary of Dave Robert's steal vs. the Yankees.
I'm thinking that is today's GM.

Although given the recent trend, I would guess limited to 200, with 1:100 pack odds

Ugh, not happy at all with this low count. I tried to pull Ortiz GM and spent 350k but got only one insert (Archer Fan's Choice - whoopee). I probably gave someone some better odds, but it's enough to make me skip the GM chase this year. I've already given up on the FC chase (need the last 4) and the EC last 10 chase (still need Pence). Saving coins for the final Tbt...I think I'm gonna need as many as I can for that one.

Even more maddening, one guy on Fan Feed says "Opened 1 pack, got Ortiz GM". All I can say after opening all those packs is "You're welcome".  ? |

I still can't see the Ortiz card on the card sheet or in anyone's collection that owns it. The same thing happened to me yesterday until dbole let me borrow his Doby in a trade that he sent.
Anyone else have this problem? Between yesterday and today I've purchased over 200 triple packs and haven't pulled a single Doby or Ortiz. I pulled 5 FCs, most of them old, but I did get a Kelly.

Spent 400k before getting my first insert (Archer Fan's Choice), bonus packs appear to be buggy. Claims only scarce and super rare but I pulled quite a few uncommon and rare PS from the bonus packs. I did manage to pull Ortiz (from triples) but spent way too much to do so.

Finally got an Ortiz GM (in a triple) after deciding to try again, plus I picked up 3 Dobys in the process. Also got Konerko, another Archer, and Cosart Fan's Choice. Ended up trading my extra Doby's for Kluber sig, Lester sig, Finnegan parallax, and Teheran sig (also gave extra Cain sig I picked up - I wanted something useful for my pack troubles, so I opened the 30k pack whatever-it's-called). So I guess in the end it didn't turn out too bad for me. Just hope I have enough left to finish the chases. |
