Well I give up. Another lackluster, shitty reward. What an awful choice of player and moment given how many options there are in history. I'd rather have half of the currently issued GMs as a reward than this.

Card count is 125. Odd suck no matter what they are.

Wow, what disappointing choices for these "epic" reward cards. So very disappointed. No way would I chase a year long set like this again. And no coins for either? Really?

Enos was an ok player choice, but the card should have been from the "iconic" 1952 set, not 53.

And Freese? Really? With the Giants in the WS, Bobby Thompson was the obvious choice IMO. Heck, I think the Reggie would have been better as the reward card. Unless you are a Cards fan, I can't imagine this moment is all that "golden" to anyone.

The problem is that Mike liked the game so he chose it. It doesn't matter that no one wants a Freese reward card, same as no one wanted all the Jeter stuff we were pelted with this year. It's as though he doesn't have to bounce idea off anyone, he just goes with what he wants.

I have 29 GMs and I'm seriously debating whether I should even trade for Reggie. That's how bad this is between the awful reward and super low count. Maybe I can find someone to borrow him off for a day so I don't have to go through the trouble. Other than that, I'm fed up.
