Just had my first bad trade experience

And it soured my feelings on the game and people.

So last night I was feverishly working to finish the Bundesliga Future is Now set.  Last one I needed was Xhaka.  Someone posted they had one for trade and I made a STRONG offer.  Few heritage inserts, high scoring golds and something else.  Well it got to about 1 hour left and the person had not responded.  I went to the app clicked cancel and thought it canceled.  I went to bed because I had been up all night trying to finish this set.  I woke up and saw that I had a notification.  The person accepted the trade 8 minutes after the award was given out.  I literally screamed "WHAT!?" because I had cancelled it (or so I thought).  And then I couldn't believe someone would do that.  From my messages in the chat it was clear I was trying to get the award.  I guess some people just don't want to do the right thing.

Yea, that's a scam case right there. Although it is not "technically" scamming, it's still a scammer. Who did this to you?

I agree that this is scamming, although a case could be made against it. I don't know how he managed to trade past your cancel other than a glitch in the app. He honestly could not have known of the time deadline for the set, but I highly doubt that.

Tuga82 was their name. 800+ratings I mean I take some of the blame for not making sure the trade canceled but man someone shouldn't do that stuff to people.

Me too. 8 minutes left and he accepts?! Clearly if he liked the trade, he should have accepted earlier

Nah no chance he didn't know. It had been mentioned plenty of times all night.

the fan feed is brutal on all 3 apps but most so in kick unfortunately. better off hanging out in top article as with the other apps. kick has a great community of traders in there. even still, you should have cancelled the trade ahead of time if u knew the deadline was coming up. that would have solved everything to begin with.

but thanks for the heads up on the trader. i think he's already in my "special" folder for poor trades.
