Giggs Legend Value

I have been trying to get a Giggs Legend card for months now.  I missed out on early release legends.

My question is, what is it worth?

I have offered some really good packages and got shot down every time.

If you had a Giggs legend dup to trade, what would you want in return?

If I had a dupe? Probably 2-3 good, low count inserts or 5-6 mid-count inserts. However since it was a low count run, it will be hard to find someone with a dupe. If I had only 1? it would take 4-5 low count inserts for me to part with it (but I wouldn't since I am a Man U fan lol)

When you say low count inserts, do you mean ones that have not paid out awards yet, like YS, OS and other Legends, or just low count inserts period. I have a Dup Beckham that I have been including in the package recently that gets shot down b/c the MLS paid out the award already.

It is really frustrating trying to get those first 3 legends. One guy told me that if I wanted his Lineker, I would have to give him my RVP VIP 80 count sig dup. He said they were even value, I would have smacked him if he was standing next to me. I gave up a lot to get that RVP dup.

You have to remember that you are dealing with fake cards that have no value at all. The only 'value' they possess would be what the individual places on them. There are sigs that have counts of 400-500 yet are treated like they are worth a card with a count of 80. At the end of the day, you are trading something that doesn't belong to you (if Topps closes the app you lose everything) to someone else for something that doesnt belong to them. Trade what you feel it is worth, and I am sure eventually you'll find someone who agrees.

Trying to get this card is going to send me to the nuthouse.

- Guy advertises he is selling Giggs legend on Fan Feed
- I offer Beckham Legend and 3 limiteds under 350 he needs that still will pay reward.
- Guy says he doesn't collect Legends
- I say what do you collect and what return do you want.
- He says Sigs of equal rarity (200) or POTM
- Well I am not giving him my only 2 POTM, Di Maria (favorite team) and Robbin (very high scoring), so I send him a Roffle (sp) sig (215)
- He tells me he only collects BPL sigs
- I send a Forester sig (123)
- He says, but that is an Xmas sig.
- I reply "good grief" and send a Costa Xmas sig (113ish) and tell him that there is only one BPL sig under 220 and it is a crap one at that.
- He declines with no response.

I just want someone to trade that damn card and not pack on a new stipulation every time you meet the ones he asked.

Another guy, who I actually respect, tells me today, he would need the Hazard POTM for it. Those POTM card score like crazy and are probably the nicest cards in the deck, not to mentione hard as hell to pull. He says otherwise a BB and a Limited OF so he can trade for the Hazard POTM. I can not justify that price for a nonscoring card and respectfully moved on.
