Anyone interested in putting in a bet for the college football championship can do so here. Rules are simple: you state what card you will bet (MUST BE AN UNDER 500 Huddle insert ONLY Any card from any of the three apps), and your projected final score.(ie: Oregon 7-Ohio State 14). As a tie breaker please include how many total yards the winning team will gain (ie. 420) There will only be a winner if he/she guesses the exact final score. Otherwise nobody wins. Since this is my first one of these please feel free to send in any feedback on the rules and if there is anything I should change. THIS IS OPEN UNTIL 1 HOUR PRIOR TO KICKOFF!
Thanks.

So let's say that 10 people joins and 1 person ends up getting it correctly. That person gets all 10 cards? Second, (this doesn't apply to most people) let's say that the winner has only a Bunt account, but people wager Huddle and Kick cards. What happens then?

I was thinking it would be winner take all...do you think that's fair? Also thats a good point. I think I might change the rules to being exclusive to one app (Huddle since this is a football game) so there is no confusion with that. Let me know what you think about that as well.

Having the wagers for Huddle only is the best solution. Yes, winner takes all is okay. It is being thrown last minute anyway so any method should work. In future events, having more time to plan could make the rules and rewards more exquisite. In that case, I'm in. As sad as it is to say, I have no inserts between 1000-1500 in Huddle. Every single one is under 500. 1000-1500 are most common in Bunt. Betting a BoH would be cheap, so I'll be betting a Chandler Jones POTW (Week 2: Card Count 483). I project Oregon to take it 23-10 (even though I would think it would be a blowout). Oregon will record 323 total yards in the game.

Ok, and it looks like I don't have an insert in that range either so I'll have to change that rule. As for upcoming games, I will give at least a week of preparations. This is the first one so I just want to see how it turns out. Edit: I am wondering if you think it would be better to make it so that the closest contestant wins, or so that you must have the exact final score to win?

I would think that the exact score should win because lots of arguments may rise. For example, let's say that someone predicts a score of 30-17 and another guesses a score of 27-7 and the and actual score is 30-3. The 30-17 would argue that he got 1 number right while the 27-7 guy is closer. I'm saying that an exact score would lower the arguments and confusion

Looks like it's only going to be us 2 Thats what it looks like...Which is ok with me. I'll open it up until 1 hour prior to kickoff. Good point there with the scoring. That pretty much matches up with the reason it was originally the exact score wins. No fair way to determine how the closest score wins. So only rule change will be the rarity of the cars.

Yep! Ohio State took the College Football National Championship with a score of 42-20. No winners, so everyone keeps their bets. I thought that was pretty fun! Next one to be posted shortly.
