I have a question fir everyone.. I have 295 white base cards. I looked in the deck and it shows an Arenado leather as being part of the set..Is this error on Topps part, since the blue an red both show 295 cards for the set. I have refreshed this and it still shows up..Should I uninstall then re install the app?? Yes, sadly - you will need that one card for the white base set award...the leather set came out a few days after the main cards. I traded for it, but subsequently flipped it. I am sure someone in the community will trade it to you.....it is a pain !! |

I am not a fan of the new games, but there are some things I like. I do like locking the decks one has to use a little more strategy and not everyone can play every game. But playing the cards is tough. I do not have the greatest eyes and it is tough to pick from the little images. I have had trouble saving the cards. I am sure that will not be a problem for a long time. Last year it was just so easy to play, now it is about 5 steps. It really does not matter that much to me. It costs me nothing and it passes the time as I try to complete my Oakland Athletics Bunt master set. Of course the set that cost me nothing will simply vanish in a few years while the 1956 Topps set graded PSA 7 or better that I do pay for I will be able to give to my children. That is where I have my greatest struggle, frankly - are digital cards really worth anything to "pass along" to future generations like real cards ? I am not so sure..digital cards are certainly the rage and Bunt extrapolates that to great heights and hey - we're all buying into it. But with these contests, it makes the PTS chases seem infrequent and random. I think I prefer the real cards now.... |

Real nice that this year they are on top of selling out the players that got traded, while JD Martinez and Bronson Arroyo were with the Astros and Reds respectively for most of the year last year. I guess we aren't getting team sets to collect this year? If so, I'll be highly disappointed, as a collector who isn't spending money, I really enjoy chasing the team sets in all the Apps, even the Star Wars version. |

They are all over the place on sold out cards, and other odd things, and its only the second week of the baseball season.. |

I can't believe the onslaught of inserts and as you say, we are just entering week 2 of MLB season. More and more I like the idea of just collecting coins by trading up in existing PTS cards and buying packs when I save coins...buying coins to buy more is not something I am prepared to so I can focus on the real cards and collecting this year's GQ.

My latest thoughts...the more I use trade talk, the more I dislike this app. Everyone wants ridiculous stuff for their cards. It's about gotten to the point that if I can't pull a certain card, I'll just do without. Crazy.

I've gotten a few cards through trade talk, but it's rough. I am open to any trades for base cards if you guys want, possibly for inserts as well. I have a bunch of the first pitch inserts that I am not particularly attached to. I need to pick a set to chase and use the random inserts I have for that purpose.

I've spent a bit of real money on the app and am not even close to being able to collect everything. I don't even have singles of some of the insert sets, let alone entire sets.
Focusing on Editors Choice and Play Hard for now.

I actually like the look and feel of the app, but as I've said in the past, the points playing should be set up just like fantasy baseball-Set your lineup of 1 player per position for whatever contest your in, and thats it. Makes things fair for everyone in my opinion.

Hi all,
I'm finding the fan feed, always a source of annoyance, to be HUGELY annoying in early 2015. I respond to trade requests with trade offers, and they're ignored more often than not. And the gouging - crap. I had a guy offer me a common gold for a Felix Hernandez gold, claiming that "fairness is different for different people". I too have noticed a lot of regular from the last half of 2014 are gone, and have also noticed a lot of heavy pack openers so far in 2015 don't participate much in the social stuff. For good reason I guess.
I was surprised at the start of the season with how devalued 2012-2014 stuff seems to have become, but I think that will rebound as the season wears on.
