I thought it would be helpful to work together to come up with a release schedule for Star Wars cards.
I haven't been able to tell if there has been a method to the special insert packs releases such as Nightbrothers, Geonosis (previously Hoth), Green, Jedi Strike Team, Elite Soldiers, Rebels, etc.
Here is what it seems like to me for regular inserts (available in all Base Packs)
Sunday: Topps' Choice
Monday: Galactic Moments
Tuesday: Bounty
Wednesday: Fan's Choice
Thursday: Vintage
Friday: Connections
Saturday: Widevision
Other Inserts (available in special packs for that insert)
Wednesday: Film Quotes
I would say for the daily inserts the typical release time is 2:30, but that definitely fluctuates depending on server issues or early master pack access (which seems to be a regular thing now.)
Please reply if you have any corrections to the above or if you've been able to figure out a schedule for other releases.

Add on:
The Commemoratives run in five bursts during weekends.
Bursts typically start on Friday.
I've seen morning starts and late afternoon starts (Eastern Time).
Typically we get a notification ahead of time.
I think they said there will be ten of these cards, and we have 6 released already.

Nice work btownj. Now I have to figure out what I really want to chase. I've been too all over the place, I have a bunch of random inserts, no coherent strategy and like everyone, way too many base cards.

btownj, should add Film Quotes on Wednesdays with Fan Choice. Thanks for the info...I added it separate below the other list since it's in a separate pack. I've been trying to figure out a schedule for Greens, Geonosis, Strike Team....but haven't been able to figure out a regular pattern. If you have, please let me know. |

Film Quotes on a Tuesday, keeping us on our toes Topps! It doesn't seem like any inserts other than those in the base packs (Vintage/Connections/Widevision/etc.) have a set schedule. They just get released whenever Topps feels like it...so you have to always be watching the alerts. Recent Green releases on April 11(Sat), 13(Mon), 14(Tues), 15(Wed), 17(Fri), 22(Wed), 23(Thurs) - No method to the release madness There were no Geonosis releases for almost a week and then the past 2 days in a row. They started the new Shred set (which looks horrible IMO) and already released on Monday and Wednesday. So I don't really know if the Film Quotes will have a regular release day...we shall see. |
