Just bought a 7th Inning Stretch pack, my first of the year. Scored 6 whites and 1 green. Un-effin-believable. Never again. Yeah, that 7th inning stretch pack is WAYYYYYY overpriced. Unless I'm guaranteed a high end insert, there is no way I'm dropping 40K for 7 cards. I'd rather save the extra 35K and buy the Deck Builder Premium and definately get 1 gold and 5 blues.

Bought a couple 7th Inning packs this weekend, pulled almost all whites and only one green. I did get two reds, but both were players injured or demoted, so they don't even help with contests. Zero inserts. Not at all worth it for $40k per pack. Instead, the Payoff Pitch at $5k seems to be the best choice for casual players. I think the odds for reds must be pretty low, but every 3-5 packs I have been getting inserts (mostly POTW). At the very least, you can build up your collection of whites and greens for playing the free or Pro contests.
The way to make this pack attractive would be to keep it at 7 cards and include inserts, but also provide a shot at golds and even decent odds (10% or so?) for blues. Based on the comments here, it seems like these don't have any blues or golds.

Based on the comments here, it seems like these don't have any blues or golds. It's honestly amazing how stupid Topps must think thier users are. Think about this... 7 cards, mostly whites and greens for $40K. A week ago, they had the Hosmer and Cabrera GoBoost packs out at $500 coins a pack for 5 cards. I must have opened 30 or so packs, got 150 cards, got both GoBoost cards multiple times and a ton of green and red cards for roughly $15K. Honestly, my options at this point (as a free user) consist of saving my coins up to buy the deck builder premium pack, or hoping another GoBoost pack comes out and going nuts buying those. Those are the only 2 packs I feel are worth my time right now. Why anyone would waste thier coins on the 7th inning stretch pack is beyond me.
