Am I the only one who feels we got screwed with collecting and redeeming the BP2 award? They never announced the deadline until after it has passed. I was collecting and trading serious value only to find out I was too late. Yesterday (Sunday May 30th) at 4pm Topps Bunt awarded the Syndegaard award cards. At around 4:15pm was the ONLY announcement on the board that the redemption would be Sunday at 4pm. Too little, too late for me! If I knew of the deadline I would have bailed on my colors and blacks and at least got some value in return. I stayed on top of the newsfeed and twitter like crazy as I feared thios would happen when they never announced the availability of the last two cards in the set (Owens/Buxton). I have sent an inquiry to Support and also a Tweet to all the powers that be at Topps Bunt. No response so far. I tried to use the comments section on the LATE newsfeed article about the deadline BUT the comments section was turned OFF! I think they knew there would be a backlash.

You are not the only one. This was absolutely ridiculous! I had 9 out of 10 for my set and figured I would have today to try and get the last one I needed. Then last night I saw the article pop up ANNOUNCING the final cards of the set (They already released the cards 24 hours earlier with no article) and announcing the award was already past.
It was absolutely ridiculous and beyond frustrating. It is unfair that they keep turning the comments section off!

It was a totally f'd up situation. ToppsMike on Twitter acts ignorant. They actually gave the color award out 2x. Sat, anyone who had the first 8 colors got the color award. Then, they gave the award again on Sun at 4:00. So if you got the award Sat, and completed the set on Sun, you could move it to a different account for a second award. Thus the award count was higher that it should have been. And how many Hedges were pulled?!

They forgot to make the Hedges white BP2 sold out so it just kept on getting pulled...ended up at over 6,000 count. I guess I take solace that I was not alone. I was trying for all three sets. If I knew of a deadline I would have planned accordingly and maybe bailed on the four colors that I owned at the time. I hustled like mad for a good portion of the day on Sunday only to be blindsided.
I would suggest that everyone contact ToppsMike thru Twitter and submit a report thru the App!
