By now, I'd think anyone who plays Kick (if anyone here does) had downloaded the new app. Thoughts? IMO it's a bit too busy and yesterday was rough. However, last night the app seemed to be moving ok and thankfully I was able to move around and see what was going on. Still not a fan as it takes too long to load, is slugging moving from page to page, etc. They need to fix the issues but I guess it's what we have so time to embrace it.

I absolutely hate it. It takes at least one minute to load on my phone and then the navigation between screens is ridiculously slow. The app can hardly run on my iPhone 5s. I opened BPL packs yesterday after the release just to find out later all the inserts were sold out. It seems almost impossible to search for cards on the card sheet and good luck trying to figure out which matches are happening when.
Everything is overly complicated and difficult just for the sake of having fancy graphics. Cards no longer look like cards...in my opinion instead of resembling trading cards it is almost exclusively a digital game now. They have removed the collecting/hobby aspect of the app. Cards now have 3 sides? Ridiculous!
Topps Kick used to be so nicely organized and structured, actually my favorite Topps app because things were simple and worked smoothly. Now it's the opposite.
I'm definitely done trying to play for points and I don't even think I have the patience to figure out the releases of cards. I did have all of my Best XI, Old School, GOTW, SOTW, Young Stars, Fan's Choice, Editor's Choice sets complete, but now I just don't care to bother with it. I'll log in for my daily coins (the only positive is now 10K coins) and hope it gets better with time...
I sure hope none of the other Topps apps change to be more like Kick. It seriously is the worst Topps update ever. Keeping things simple while running fast and smooth is by far the best way to go!

as a big time fan of kick since my discovery of it i feel like they have ruined something that was close to perfect. My cousin is an iphone4 user and although i realize it is close to out of date he still enjoyed playing kick but as of now he can log in but it crashes almost 5 min in he cant buy packs or do anything. they are going to lose a good amount of users on older android and ios

Yea the fact that it doesn't work on devices that the other apps and previous versions of Kick do is not good. I'm not as soured on it really. My biggest issue is that I just get a "loading" screen a lot that I makes me have to close the app and restart it. Besides that I guess I just have small complaints. Substituting cards during games is a PITA, game takes too long to load and takes up too much space. They said they need to fix the space issue and also they said the first update should fix the issue with the time it takes to load the game. Outside of that I'm not gonna give it up. I still enjoy it. Like that they changed the daily coins to 10k. Hope they keep it. Also like that you can basically earn 45k each week just setting a lineup. In the MLS, BPL and Bundesliga contests as long as you score over 0 you get 15k. We'll see if they stick with that.

I barely have the patience to open the app to collect my daily coins...I still absolutely hate it.
I tried trading over the weekend and hardly any filter actually works to find cards.

It's crash-tastic! Even with the update today I still can't get on for more than a few seconds before it crashes again. Spent the last 45 or so minutes trying, I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and it doesn't make a difference. Guess we will just have to wait another 4 or so days for yet another update!

I actually like it. Having said that it's in no way perfect, and does need some work. I also have a newer smartphone, and do notice on my older ones, it runs pretty poorly. So, having said that, I would be pretty irritated if I was still using my older phone.

I really dislike it more than like, I think they overcomplicated it and thats why it crashes, Keep it simple, thats why people liked the older version or the huddle and bunt apps of 2013, they were simple and easier to use, at least it isn't as corrupt as the other 2 sport apps, I find it easier to pull certain inserts
