This will be a thread where you talk about your physical baseball card collecting. You can show your best cards, stories, etc. How long have you been collecting? Do you prefer BUNT electronic cards over physical cards?

I'll go first. I have played BUNT since last summer. I have always wanted to collect physical cards but never had the chance to until recently (as in two days ago). I bought my first pack which was a Topps Opening Day pack with 24 cards. The best card I probably got was a Sergio Romo FIRED UP.  I hope to buy a blaster pack soon and get some pretty good inserts. |

I have a card I want to show you guys but I have to get it tomorrow. I've been collecting since I was a kid going to the liquor store to get some beer with my dad and he would always but me a pack or two of cards on the way out and at that time they where topps. I had at one time over 100k real cards between me and my dad but along the way we sold a lot and between time and most of them being worthless we got rid of them .......but when my sister had her first son it was like I was a kid again Lol. To this day we still go to our local card store and buy a box of cards and some dew and bust the whole box at the store. The card I will post tomorrow is from one of those very trips. Now being a new father myself it will be something I'm sure I pass on as well. If I can post a picture now let me know I have some others not so spectacular but still nice to show. I'm not sure if the webspace issue has been addressed.

Attachment DeletedSorry it took so long but there it is. In all of its glory. Probably the best card I own. From his last year. Only 200. In the same pack I got a jersey card of don Larsen from the World Series no hitter. Best pack I have ever opened.

I have been collecting on and off since I was 4. I have thousands of cards, most of which are in boxes, bins and other storage.
My best 'pulls' came when I collected in the 90s. Lots of inserts of players like Maddux, Big Hurt, Griffey, etc. Though I do have a special insert Chrome Strasburg RC that should be worth something some day.
My favorite collection though is I have alot of rookie cards from the late 80s to the 90s. I have Maddux, Griffey, Thomas, A-Rod (probably worthless now lol), Jeter, etc. Most of the big stars of the 90's and 00's. That is the part of my collection I will never give up as I plan on passing them down to my children.

Nice I once sent in to post cereal and got a Ernie banks auto with a certificate of authenticity. From a cereal company. Lol. I also got another person as well but I can't remember who so it couldn't have been that great. Lol
