I haven't bought cards since the late 90s/earlys 2000s. I remember the UD push for Griffey's rookie and the Billy Ripken FU bat cards. Also the Jordan one swinging BP. I had 4-5 binders of just Griffey Jr and about 10 of frank Thomas and unknown amounts of MJ.
Quick story about my favorite, My dad's friend was in Chicago on business the day of Jordan's press conference to officially announce he was coming back to the NBA and he got in ad got me a signed 1/200 card commemorating it. It's in the safe deposit box at the bank. Probably not worth a lot of $$$, but it was really special to me.

All my cards went to storage or sold. The UD rookie is in safe deposit box too. I actually fibbed earlier. My girls and I bought some kind of cards from the Dollar Store a month ago and opened them all. Nothing to note but fun. |
