That's the structure for this week. An improvement from last week but just a little. Point scoring should increase some since you can much more easily switch pitchers in and out without running out of plays in the 2nd inning. Hitters are still useless unless you guess right when they're in the hole.

I did decent with last week's set-and-forget format (#9 in team), but what would be the strategy with something like this? Pick a game with both SPs having cards, then rotating back and forth between innings? Play reloads wouldn't quite keep up with the action. Maybe do the swap every 2 innings, and pick up an extra half inning of work? IDK...

If the games your following are fast paced u could flip 2 pitchers back in forth for about 4 innings. Just depends if your watching and following on mlb game day.

Hmmm, lots of decent matchups today. Might just try to leave active pitchers in, then swap by inning with Lackey and Felix tonight. Can't seem to figure out the best approach...

Tough to flip with the way tonight's games work out. This format seems to be ideal for a day with a really early unscheduled doubleheader game. Swapping could get you about 60-70 plays (play = IP per card slot) with watered down cards if you don't have 9 golds of each. Might be better off leaving in 3 or 4 SPs (all gold) that have a chance of going 7 innings and getting you 63 gold quality plays, all while letting you re-coup your stash. I realize I probably made up my own vocabulary here, and it may be incomprehensible, but I wanted to get my thoughts down and see if anyone concurs.

U should always play golds studs mix if multi are pitching at same time watch tress of pitchers during games always play stud who facing bottom of the Oder especially in the nl.

Ok cool. That's a good point about looking for guys facing bottom of the order...hadn't thought to that level of detail. I did well last week (it was my first week really competing), but the format catered to those people who weren't actively swapping. I have a feeling my 31000 points won't fare as well when more plays are available.

Agreed; tough to keep track with so many pitchers tonight. Not to mention Sale was awful and I played 9 golds and got -500 in the hole. But Lynn has been a great boost with Gio G, so now back up to just over 2k PTS in high 200's

I was Top 5 overall until these 10:00 games. Ran out of plays and was slow to put my Felix's in. Also had some Lackey golds in....ooops...Still hovering top 30

Also had some Lackey golds in....ooops...Still hovering top 30 i was staying in the top 25 for a while even after starting in the hole with Sale....but as the same with me I ran out of plays had to eat the negative Lackey points....gambled when I went to bed had 2 plays left and put H.Street in thinking he might get to closeout the 9th...he didnt I rarely get a decent start to the week on monday and tuesday so 3,047 points is great for me sitting #133 overall

I ran out of plays late night last night too. Might try a different strategy today: have 4 slots where I leave in active gold starters, and use the remaining 5 on a rotating basis depending on who's on the field. It should limit my usage. I'll let you know how it goes
