Every team needs a candidate and castro has been having a great year, he's not my fave cub but he deserves it Rizzo also would have been a good choice though. Although I'm not sure how his average is |

AL final vote ballot is rough. 5 very deserving pitchers. I'm voting Kluber though. Yes there is an Indians bias but he deserves to be an All Star. Unfortunately the other 4 probably do as well. Kluber helped himself with his great start today. Pie cello may have hurt himself by laying an egg on a nationally televised game. Just saying, Richards certainly helped himself out today too... |

I think Castro was a good pick. Not too many other options at SS.
It's pretty surprising seeing the rather weak AL catchers. Perez, Suzuki and Norris is not exactly the names I think of when I hear all stars. But Perez is an all around guy and deserves to be there. Because of wieters injuries and Mauer's slumping, the AL is really struggling with offensive catchers.
