I can name a bunch of big screwups they have done and people still move on and spend more. In all actuality its not even their fault, its the spenders. Wahoobudd spent like 2 grand on bonus packs has like 80+ each of carter and dickerson potw.

I've already sold off everything, with the intent of just chasing this. Abandoned GM and TBT to get missing ECs. Ironic thing is, I was able to get an Arrieta at 12:35.

The completely nonsensical thing about this is that the Arrieta article states that the card will only sell out tomorrow (which still might be the case). Why make the award today if a non sold out card is part of it?

The completely nonsensical thing about this is that the Arrieta article states that the card will only sell out tomorrow (which still might be the case). Why make the award today if a non sold out card is part of it? I'm thinking they released buxton to tease people into spending obscene amounts for packs to get Arrieta. Notice that Arrieta is not even sold out yet means they want people to spend $$$$$ |

There wasn't an article before the Kinsler one today - pretty sure it was just a tweet earlier in the week by Ian saying that buxton was on it's way in a few days (which would've made it Wednesday if "few" was meant in the literal sense).

I don't think there is an article about Buxton. I only noticed the announcement in the Kinsler EC article. At least I never noticed a Buxton article, and I checked regularly.

Yeah, it just showed up on the card sheet last weekend or Monday, and was addressed as the 11-20 award via an @toppsbunt tweet. They used to at lease publish weekly articles with sets and card chases, along with award schedules - I think they've just gotten extremely lazy gearing up for Huddle and Kick. It's a shame; such a gold mine in the right hands. Revenue could be huge even without over-charging and manipulating users by ever changing odds and pricing schemes. Add general neglect and apathy to it, and it's an astronomical waste of an opportunity. It is just a game, but has taken on a serious collectors' life of it's own, and should be managed accordingly. Almost everything that's now collectible started off as a game...
