Buxton EC finally announced

I went back through the news feed to find every ec article since the last award (wheeler). Every one if those articles refers to the card as "this weeks Editor's Choice card". And yes I saved screen shots of them all that include the date of the article. The original EC article for #1 (walker) clearly says "a bonus to all fans who collect every ten Editor's Choice inserts". No reference to ten weeks. Just to the number of inserts themselves. Tavaras was issued after 1-10. Not sure what game they're trying to play but I have every intention of using the evidence I have to get the award I worked hard for.

Especially shady since CARDS 11-20 was the system used for both FC and sig award give outs. Also, the original ec articles clearly mention for each 10 inserts not weeks.

Thanks for doing that! Yeah, there's not any consistency between today's article and what I remember them saying in the past. Add in the 15 minute advanced warning for the award (when it was implied in tweets that it would be released earlier this week), and you have the terribly rushed and unfair event from today.

well if were talking about every 10 EC then the arrieta would be right with the award but since they said 11-20 then thats pretty shady of topps

How so? Tavares was awarded after Wheeler (not included on list). Buxton should be after Martinez.

But the fact that Topps has not provided a list of EC proves that they were trying to lull us to sleep and forget that there was an award coming up

I think they've actually lulled themselves to sleep, and have stopped caring about the app. I mean, they obviously have a 3rd party developer that's done all the systems engineering and interface design - they just have to sit back and port templates for physical cards over each week, and set timers for releases of redundant articles and their affiliated insert packs. Respond to a few tweets, attend games on the company dime, and enjoy a false sense of importance by making the game as much about the personalities of the support/admin staff than it is about actual MLB content.

or how bout when you get 500k free coin from mike or chris when you find them at an event. 500k coin to get another cliff pennington common or Joe Blanton Common(oh wait they finally sold out of those after he never recorded a point for hmmm the whole season!)

Haha, that opportunity seems to only present itself if you're a Yankees fan in NYC. I would never be caught dead within 10 miles of that stadium.

I care less about the card than the overall idea that this is an extremely overt symptom of a progressively deteriorating level of support for an app that a lot of money has been dumped into (not much by me admittedly).

I totally see that
it's the reason why I'm actively trying to dump the buxton for sigs so I can either sell them or hold them to finish the EC set later on I care less about rewards and more about the future values that the full EC could bring in
