I had a good time playing the Thursday Night Throwdown challenge last night, even though I came up just a little bit short of winning. However, there is a serious difference between the PTS I had at the end of last night’s action and the PTS my account is showing this morning. As you can see in the article that was posted about the winner, I posted 105,274 PTS during the game last night, good for #2 on the overall leaderboard. That was an accurate reflection of what my device was telling me about my score as well. However, when I woke up this morning, I noticed that I was somehow #5 on the leaderboard. I checked my PTS total, and it now shows that I have 69,284 PTS—a loss of 35,990 PTS overnight. I am not the only person that was affected. As far as I can tell, all of the PTS totals changed well after last night’s game was over and done with (see pics below to show differences in top 5). This isn’t a lag issue; it was far more significant than that. I really hope they figure out a way to fix this before Sunday games begin, otherwise all the work and $$$ I put into playing the challenge last night will be wasted, and that isn’t fun at all.

I saw there was a huge gap - went to bed at 32 and woke up at 15.

I sent them an email. I sure hope they can figure out what happened and restore the PTS to where they were.

They reverted the boosts to there normal 2x instead of keeping it at the 5x or 10x it should remain at until the end of the weekend. I'm sure they will fix this but makes me question there common sense.

That's interesting but my Steve smith boosts dropped from 5x his common to 2x his common. So that is at least some of the problems.

Any way you could look into why I need Gerald McCoy for the Eagles team set?

I honestly don't understand why this isn't a simple, quick fix. In any internet environment like this they ought to be able to do a capture of their servers as of the moment the last points registered for the game last night and revert the entire point standings to that spot. I don't understand why it's taking so long to figure this out and I certainly hope they do the right thing and make the proper fix. Changing the cards back to original boosts won't do it, because anyone who changes their lineup in the meantime will get more (or less) than they actually earned.

According to Twitter and a response I got from Kayla at the Huddle Support email address, they are working to "fix everyone's PTS count." I really hope that is true and that they are able to restore things the right way (to reflect the standings exactly as they were at the end of the game last night).
However, Kayla also tried to tell me that this falls into the category of "technical issues that are out of our control," and that coin refunds are out of the question even if the fix isn't able to occur. That is utter BS. This whole thing is clearly a technical issue, but it is decidedly under their control. Communication like that is one of the many reasons people get infuriated at the Topps Digital team.
