At the least if you have to pay to access these packs they should publish an article explaining what you get (I could have missed it). Is access only for 24 hours? How much are the packs you gain access too? What are the %'s?
I was hoping new app would be more like Kick but unfortunately it's more like Star Wars....

Thats what it sounds like lcm. Guess I'll buy a little bundle at the beginning and then some little ones along the way until I hit what I was planning on spending. Not worth spending $100 if you get 1 day of good packs.

Looks like I'll have a lot more time soon. I'll hang around for a while, but they have completely ruined this for free to play. What's worst is the condescending attitude that we can't understand how they've made it better. You want to make packs more expensive, fine. To take half the cards and make them unattainable, that's unfair. Huddle will only get worse and this year's MLS is worrying me for Kick.

I bought some bundles last year. Even got vip one month. My first month playing. After that I didn't spend anything. I think we all knew and were ok with the people who wanted to shell out thousands on the game having better cards than us and finishing higher on the leader board. But we still had that little chance of pulling a nice insert or two with the coins we built up. Sad to see that's gone.

Agreed that I am so disappointed with the changes. I will probably buy a couple 99 cent coin bundles so I can spend my 600k coins I've saved up in the offseason, but Topps won't see more than $10 from me. At least with Star Wars you can still pull the inserts. Unfortunately now the last 2 days on Star Wars they have started early insert access for those spending money, then the rest of us have insert access to what is left over after the sharks are done. So far it has still worked out for me to obtain the inserts, but Topps Bunt has shown the writing on the wall. No more free fun! |

How is it unfair for them to make half the cards unattainable for free players? In all my years of buying real packs, I've never once pulled an autograph card. And yet I still occasionally buy packs. It seems that a lot of the complaints here are from people who are getting handouts from Topps, and they don't like the handouts they're getting. It's like going to a restaurant and complaining that they give out free bean soup, when you think you deserve clam chowder. Just sayin'. . . |

I agree that it's not unfair for them to do it. I think that was a poor choice of words honestly. It's completely their right to do whatever they want with the app. People will still play. Those who pay money will still pay and pay more now. The people who were on the fence will likely pay now as well. The people who don't want to pay will end up playing what they do pull or leaving.
