So the store is down right now and, if you look at the card sheet, there are commons with your basic mugshots. I wonder if they have to revert back to mugshots now due to some licensing issue (for the images, not logos).

Code: We got a Cease & Desist letter from Panini/NFL and had to revert back to the mugshots to prevent being sued into oblivion. Once we get a licensing deal in place for the action shots, we'll give you the action shots!

They're also splitting the awards by the type of s**t used on the card. So stupid.

That's crazy. This also means that the Inception series is going to be very short-printed, along with any other inserts that just came out. Wow. A lot of chases just got short-circuited.

This totally sucks. I was taking my time completing the base sets, now they are all sold out. Cards without logos were bad enough, these mug shot cards are even worse.

This is a mess that I don't trust the brainstrust at Topps to be able to solve. They have enough issues with Bunt without the licencing nightmare. Now, they've completely altered the values of EVERY SINGLE card in existence - but with the possibility of reprinting them in the future to alter the values again. I'm out this year, just wish i had known this before the 1 million coin bundle this weekend.

I think I'm done paying. I really liked the action shots even without the logos. It still made it feel like football. But this... I'm not interested in collecting faces.

I realize there is some legal reason why Topps is doing this. But if we could have had some warning, it would have been nice. I find it a little hard to believe that this all happened this morning, while yesterday they were cranking out pack after pack, insert after insert.

Panini had there own huddle type if game last year but I can't find it now.
