No one is buying inserts as is so they need to make a change. The inception series shows how good cards can look even with no license.

If this were a licensing issue they would have to had completely removed the old action shots. Just my two cents!

i like that idea. Makes more sense than working hard on base cards that many will not be collecting other than for coin or points

The store is open again, and the offerings are pretty underwhelming. I really think they missed an opportunity to give away some free (or extremely cheap) packs today to restore some goodwill after this debacle.

I'm disappointed that the inserts will be mugshots as well. Does that include SIGS? If it does, things aren't looking good for the future of HUDDLE

The Q&A is a total joke. No accountability. Only answering questions that have either obvious answers (Will there still be a ton of packs for different inserts?) or questions they already answered in the announcement (Will action cards still score PTS?).

I would imagine that the sigs will all be head shots as well.  Oh well - at least got the cool Lynch one.

To me, there are two extremely important questions that need to be answered for transparency and accountability if I am ever going to trust them enough to be willing to purchase coins again:

1. Why have you made this change?
2. When did you know you were going to make this change?

The answer to #1 is fairly obvious at some level, but they still need to answer it directly. The answer to #2 is extremely important to any sense of integrity and honesty.

This Q&A, so far, is a complete disaster. If they don't answer the real questions, they would have been better off staying silent.

so they probably cant answer a lot of questions related to the mug shot deal - lots of legalities i'm sure.
i'm actually "ok" with the idea of mug shot cards (see 2013) as long as they can put together a ton of REALLY NICE looking borders - ala the inception design. even the sig design did the non-logo action shot some real justice. not sure why they think something like bunt's FC and huddle's FC cards look so bland. i mean, becoming an FC is such a cool thing for a collector - why make it the worst design of the lot?

they just answered the question about sig and using mug shots. answer was yes. we'll find out likely on thurs how it'll look... i'm curious if there's a bonus tied to the sig chase at all. havent seen it mentioned anywhere.

yea, i second that they can't say anything about switching to mug shots because of legal issues, but even saying something like "we cannot discuss the matter at this time but we are dedicated to making huddle the best it can be" would be just as fine, even saying something as politically correct as this is better than saying nothing about the elephant in the room
